"Apollo Bay, Victoria Tee Shirt" Kids Clothes by Julia Harwood | Redbubble

Apollo Bay, Victoria Tee Shirt
 by

This picture was taken on the road to Cape Ottway Lighthouse near Apollo Bay in Victoria. there are signs up saying “beware of drop bears”, if you look up in the trees over the road you will see these gorgeous creatures. They are a native of Australia and are often referred to as a Koala Bear, when in fact they are not related to bears at all, however they are cute and cuddly so I think it’s okay for them to have the honoury title.
The technical details: The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia.
I never get tired of seeing them, they are so cute!"Apollo Bay, Victoria Tee Shirt" Kids Clothes by Julia Harwood | Redbubble:  Available in many colours, and older kids and adults sizes as well.

This beautiful bird was showing me all his colours as he prepared to take off. This one is actually tame, he talks, loves to pose for a photo and loves kisses. We came across him in Airlie Beach at the Big 4 Whitsundays Caravan Park.

"Moss Garden, Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland" by Julia Harwood | Redbubble

"Moss Garden, Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland" by Julia Harwood | Redbubble:

This is a panorama oriented image of the beautiful green moss garden in Carnarvon Gorge In Central Queensland. It is a fair hike to get here, but easy walking and on the way we saw native orchids, wallabies and kangaroos, so it was a pleasant walk and well worth what waited at the end. The cool damp of a rainforest with tree ferns and waterfalls as you follow the boardwalk to the end and see the main waterfall and canyon walls of amazing colours and moss covered branches and rocks which water drops from constantly.

"Being" by Julia Harwood | Redbubble

"Being" by Julia Harwood | Redbubble:

This is an image that came to me in a meditation. Firstly as I went deep in the earth I found a beautiful ball of light. I became this light and then out of this I grew into a tree stretching out through the earth and right up into the heavenlies. Each of my branches represented a part of life, all of which I was totally connected and integrated with. Then the tree receded until it was me. I hope this touches you as it touched me. To me it shows we are all totally connected to each other, to the animals, the earth, the heaven, to everything. We are all one and the light is always with us, it is part of us, it is outside of us and it is within us.

Creation or the Creator?

I speak often on the healing power of nature and it is something I believe strongly in, but I the healing from the creation or is it the creator that heals?

To me nature is just a reflection of the Creator. It is the fact that the beauty of nature shows us that we are not alone in this world, the vastness of the ocean as we gaze at it, shows us even though we are so tiny in this universe there is still someone who loves us and looks out for us. The beauty and tranquillity shows me the heart of the Creator who is also the master artist and who is the source of all peace.

So how is it that we can accept that nature heals our soul and lifts our mood, but have so much trouble acknowledging the Creator who has given all this to us?

I do not believe in organized religion, I have seen too often the damage done by it's narrow mindedness and judgemental beliefs, however I do believe in God and I know that a relationship with him makes life worth living.

If you want to know more about a real relationship with the Creator I would be happy to hear from you, and even if you can't believe at this time, I hope my images will bring you peace, hope and love.
